Little Red Riding Hood

I just had to paint one more Brothers Grim for the Ehag challenge "All the Better to See You With" a Little Red Riding Hood painting done in gouche.
Little Red is a great story for inspiration and I've worked with her before, this time I wanted to capture a classic fairy tale feel. I hope you like Red and the Wolf!

I am always jealous of what you are drawing... Wish I could be painting fairy tales all day... :-)

I like the feeling it gives of classic renditions. Is it done in 2009 or maybe 1929? Hard to tell. It is pretty nonetheless.

Thank you dears! I'm sure this won't be the last time I paint her :)

Sweet tlc... oh how I wish I painted fairy tales all day, I simply omit the mundane parts of my real life here ;) Its all good though but I do have the full time day job and kids!
