 I hope your treat bags are bursting at the seams this morning!

The wheel of the random number generator has been spun (or whatever magic happens in there, I like to picture a little hamster twirling it!) and the winner is .. dear Kambriel!

 Kambriel  will receive the Halloween grand prize of print of her choice and other little serendipitous sundries from the studio.

 I decided one prize wasn't enough for my special followers on such a special holiday so I made that hamster run the wheel 2 more times!

Mad Tea Party 2010 and Give Away Prize!

That clock is exactly two days late! Oh Alice, I do know how you feel! You see I'm very excited the Mad Tea Party will be on my Birthday this Saturday the 26th (not Unbirthday but the actual big day!) But now I know I won't be home and was feeling a little perplexed over what to do.... When I heard the rustle of leaves outside my window. Wandering out what did I catch a glimpse of but this lovely spirit.
I do believe she is dressed for tea! She beckoned for me to follow her through the garden.

I trailed behind till we came to the back garden gate, curiously there was a key left out, I opened the gate and followed her through. (she didn't need a key of course!) I have to admit I was feeling rather sheepish at this point, Would I be letting her and other ghosts of tea parties past and future down by not having a tea party on my birthday ... Then she turned and smiled and said, "Silly goose, looking glass time runs forwards and back whichever you choose!"

She then disappeared, just like that, leaving behind her hat on the gate post. I placed it reverently upon my head like a crown and raised a cup to her. Promising to remember to let time be on my side for a change!

Mad Tea Party, Happy Birthday to me and a gift for you!

Its time! for Vanessa Valencia of A Fanciful Twist 2nd Annual Mad Tea Party!

Now I realize Mad Tea Parties are supposed to be for Un-Birthdays but its my birthday so by Royal proclamation of the Queen of Hearts... You are here by invited to my Un-Birthday Party Birthday Party! I have a little party favor for you too, I will be drawing a name from my list of followers to win this enchanting little white rabbit pendant from my shop.


Alice and the Mad Hatter arrived first. Followed by the White Rabbit and birthday girl.
The feast included lemon frosted cupcakes (with gumdrops) chocolate flowers molded by Alice and the Hatter themselves, and oatmeal chocolate chip cookies that mysteriously read "Eat Me" on them!

Imagine our surprise to find Door Mouse at the table sipping tea! Is it just me, or is the party getting more and more colorful?


Of course we saved a special place for you, with a warm cup of Wonderland tea and cookies!

Spring Giveaway!

Spring is in the air and summer vacation only a few weeks away! To celebrate I've got a giveaway to take you down the rabbit hole!
An original ACEO painting of "Hold Tight Alice" (3.5 x 2.5 mini painting in a trading card size) Painted with watercolor and gouache on heavy watercolor paper.
Plus.... a 5x7 print of my "White Rabbit" I'll also include some little surprises!

Today is the day! I put on my magic top hat and waved the enchanted Valentine wand over the .... random number generator! Yes today is February 12th, the day the gypsy caravan of One World One Heart circles round to draw the names of winners!

My prizes include an 8x10 print of "Love Bird" and an ACEO of "Philippe, the Cotton Candy Elf" both hand embelished with a touch of sparkle! I'll also include a little surprise :)

Welcome to my entry for "One World One Heart" this give away is open to everyone! Please leave a comment and I will draw the winner on Feb 12th! I just adore Valentines Day so I choose a sweet Valentine Print for my gift to give.

I'm new to One Heart One World, I found it through A Fanciful Twist . (Thank you Valencia!) The founder of One Heart is Lisa at Whimsical Bohemian This is the third year of the give away that brings artist/bloggers together around the globe! This year there are hundreds already signed up to take part.

Its so easy to feel alone in our little creative worlds. I'd venture few of us are lucky enough to many kindred spirits in the art world in our day to life. Blogging has become like windows into other artists spaces and hearts for me, Its so inspiring after a long day teaching to take a peak at what Karen has been cutting out of wood in her workshop or what lovely dolls are coming to life at "The Fairies Nest"
Or I can sit with a cup of my favorite tea and biscotti and read about Edward and his person Pamela and be completely enchanted!
One Heart One World was created to bring more artists together and that my friends, makes me smile.
